The 2016-2017 season marks the 12th and final year that Sarah Ioannides will serve as Music Director for the SPO. With ONLY THREE concerts left in her tenure, you won't want to miss a chance to see the Maestro at work here in Spartanburg!

The Season Premier opens with Copland's extraordinary "Fanfare for the Common Man" followed by a spectacular new piano concerto by award winning composer, Kenneth Fuchs, performed by the brilliantly expressive Jeffrey Biegel.

To complete the concert, the orchestra will perform the first symphony by Brahms, one of the greatest masterworks written for the symphony.
